Workshops to assist students in completing financial aid application forms for the 1997-98 school year will be held in February and March at Wayne State University and its extension centers.
The workshops will help students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, as well as provide information on the financial aid process. A $100 scholarship will be given away each day.
The hour-long workshops, sponsored by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (OSFA), will be held at the following times in Hilberry Lounge A of the WSU Student Center Building:
· 10 a.m., 1 and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4;
· 10 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19;
· 10 a.m., noon and 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27;
· 10 a.m., 1 and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 4.
· The workshops also will be offered at the following Wayne State extension sites:
· 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, room 394 B of the Northwest Activity Center, 18100 Meyers Road, Detroit;
· 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, room 112 of the University Center at Macomb, 44575 Garfield Road, Clinton Township; and
· 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, room 130 of the Oakland Center, 33737 W. 12 Mile Road, Farmington Hills.
