The Wayne State University School of Medicine’s Department of Neurology will conduct the second annual Tselis Neuroimmunology Education Symposium on Jan. 17.
The symposium will take place from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Margherio Family Conference Center.
Presentations include:
“COVID and Multiple Sclerosis: Pathophysiology and Management,” by Avindra Nath, M.D. chief of the Section of Infections of the Nervous System and clinical director of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, National Institutes of Health.
“Multiple Sclerosis and The Immense Impact of Multiple Molecular Mimics In a Small Region of EBNA1,” by Lawrence Steinman, M.D., the George A. Zimmermann Professor and professor of Pediatrics at the Stanford University School of Medicine.
“Viruses in Chronic Progressive Neurologic Disease,” by Steven Jacobson, Ph.D., of the Viral Immunology Section, Division of Neuroimmunology and Neurovirology, at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.
