The Robert R. Frank Student-Run Free Clinic is a 501c3 non-profit urban clinic that provides comprehensive medical care to the uninsured residents of Detroit. Established in 2010 by a group of WSU medical students and physician leaders who recognized the need for an additional clinic that provides health care to this population, the clinic provides patients with a wide array of services, including community education, laboratory testing, an in-clinic functional pharmacy, diagnostic procedures and ophthalmology services, all free of charge.
