Professor of Communication
Dean Seeger’s research interests include crisis and risk communication. His work has appeared in over 200 peer-reviews journal articles, book chapters and conference proceedings. He has worked with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Center for Food Protection and Defense, and is a member of the World Health Organization Guidelines Development Group for Emergency Risk Communication. Seeger has been quoted in the New York Times, the Washington Post, Boston Globe, and the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
