The Wayne State University School of Medicine and the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute will present Breast Cancer Symposium 2025 on April 12.
The symposium, scheduled for 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., will take place at the Detroit Marriott Troy, located at 200 W. Big Beaver Road in Troy, Mich.
The event’s keynote speakers are Sara Hurvitz, M.D., FACP, professor of Medicine, Smith Family Endowed Chair in Women’s Health, head of the Division of Hematology and Oncology and senior vice president of the Clinical Research Division at the University of Washington School of Medicine’s Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center; and Kelly Hewitt, M.D., FACS, associate professor of Surgery at the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah.
Cost to attend is $125 for physicians and pharmacists; $50 for mid-level providers, retired physicians and other allied health providers; $25 for nurses; $20 for fellows, residents and medical students, which is refundable upon attendance.
