The Wayne State University School of Medicine’s Department of Urology will present the 35th annual James M. Pierce Jr., M.D., Memorial Lectureship on Oct. 11.
The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Green Lecture Hall at Scott Hall on the School of Medicine’s campus.
The keynote speaker is Faysal Yafi, M.D., FRCSC, associate professor of Urology, chief of the Division of Men’s Health and Reconstructive Urology, director of Men’s Health and Newport Urology, and co-director of the Eric S. Wisenbaugh GURS Fellowship in Male Reconstructive and Prosthetic Urology at the University of California, Irvine. His practice specializes in men’s health, erectile dysfunction, hypogonadism, Peyronie’s disease, prosthetic surgery, male voiding dysfunction/enlarged prostate and male infertility. He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Visualized Surgery, the Thai Journal of Urology and the Video Journal of Prosthetic Urology.
