The Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute and the Wayne State University School of Medicine will present the second annual Lung Cancer Symposium on Oct. 19.
The symposium will take place from 8 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. at the Detroit Marriott Troy, 200 W. Big Beaver Road, in Troy, Mich.
Keynote speakers are Saiama Waqar, M.D., professor of Medicine, director of Education for Oncology and research director for Thoracic Oncology at the Washington University School of Medicine; Antoinette Wozniak, M.D., chief scientific officer for the Lung Cancer Research Foundation; Jay Lee, M.D., associate professor and surgical director of the Thoracic Oncology Program at UCLA Health; Nasser Hanna, M.D., professor, and associate division director of Oncology at the Indiana University School of Medicine; and Jyoti Malhotra, M.D., M.P.H., associate professor and director of Thoracic Medical Oncology at City of Hope.
