Samantha Bauer, Ph.D., joins Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences

Samantha Bauer, Ph.D., M.S., has joined the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences at the Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Dr. Bauer, a clinical assistant professor, joined the department July 10.

She previously served as a research assistant in Translational Sciences and Clinical Research Innovation, and as co-manager of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Research Design, both at Wayne State University. She also served as an epidemiologist in the Detroit Health Department.

Dr. Bauer received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2014 from the University of Michigan, and her master’s degree and doctoral degree, both in Epidemiology, in 2016 and 2019, respectively, from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.
