The Wayne State University School of Medicine Office of Admissions is fulfilling the wishes of thousands of prospective medical students with the introduction of “On-Ramps to Success,” a series of five virtual, interactive webinars that kicks off Aug. 18. The series is designed to empower applicants to the WSU School of Medicine with knowledge, insights and skills that will aid in the path to admission. It is also a direct response to applicants who expressed interest while attending a similar informational event earlier this year.

The School of Medicine takes pride in its unique “Highways to Excellence” curriculum, a reflection of the vitality of the university’s location in the heart of Detroit. Just as Detroit is a city of innovation, diversity and resilience, the On-Ramps Series embodies the same spirit by offering applicants an exclusive roadmap to success in their medical education journey.

Each session will offer an opportunity to explore a specific topic of interest to future medical students and physicians, led by the medical school’s faculty, staff and current students.
