Wayne Pediatrics is conducting its second annual Diaper Drive to collect diapers, wipes, diaper cream and more to support families with babies and toddlers in the Detroit community.

One in three mothers in America struggle to provide diapers for their babies.

One in five mothers forego food, utilities and other essentials to provide diapers for their babies.

Some day care centers refuse children who do not have ample supply of disposable diapers, causing mothers to miss work or school.

Donations and monetary contributions will be accepted through Feb. 28 at the Wayne Health headquarters at 400 Mack Ave. in Detroit.

Please make checks payable to Wayne Pediatrics, a 501c3 organization, and note “For diaper drive” in the memo line. Checks can be mailed to Wayne Pediatrics, 400 Mack, Detroit, MI 48201. Cash donations are accepted during office hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
