Wayne Pediatrics, Midtown’s newest integrated pediatric practice for babies, children and adolescents, will host a Fall Harvest Community Health Fair in collaboration with nearly 20 community partners, including Connect to Protect Detroit, the Detroit Health Department and Wayne State University School of Medicine. The event will provide free vaccines, food and entertainment for the entire family in a fall-themed atmosphere Oct. 2, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 400 Mack Ave. in Detroit.
Funded by a grant from the Michigan State Medical Society Foundation, festivities for the Fall Harvest Community Health Fair include a mini car show courtesy of the V-8 Estate Corvette Club, free apple cider and doughnuts, and pumpkin-decorating for children.

Health screenings include blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, HIV, Hepatitis C, lead testing and more, and onsite vaccination clinics will offer back-to-school, flu and COVID-19 vaccinations, as well as COVID-19 testing. Advance scheduling for vaccinations is encouraged by calling 313-876-4667 and pressing 2 twice. Walk-up appointments are also welcome.
Wayne Pediatrics provides a full range of integrated primary and subspecialty care, including preventive and behavioral health services from a dietitian, diabetes educators, social workers and psychologists.
