ACCESS, in partnership with the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute’s Office of Cancer Health Equity & Community Engagement, will present “Ask the Cancer Doctor,” featuring Philip Philip, M.D., Ph.D., FRCP, professor of Oncology at the Wayne State University School of Medicine, on Dec. 12 at the Arab American National Museum – Annex in Dearborn.

Karmanos representatives will discuss the financial toxicity of cancer and the resources available, followed by a question-and-answer session with Dr. Philip, the leader of KCI’s Gastrointestinal Oncology Multidisciplinary Team.

The event, which includes dinner and drawings for prizes, begins at 5:30 p.m. at the annex, located at 13624 Michigan Ave., in Dearborn.
