Women in Science: Choosing Leadership conference set for Nov. 9

Wayne State University and the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute will present “Women in Science: Choosing Leadership” on Nov. 9 at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.

Join the conference from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. to hear women in various roles in science and health care share their keys to success,

as well as pearls they’ve learned in their personal journeys.

Elisabeth Heath, M.D., FACP, Wayne State University professor of Oncology and associate center director of Translational Sciences for KCI, will serve as moderator.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required by Nov. 6 at www.karmanos.org/WomenLeaders.
