In 2017, Ashok Sarnaik, M.D., and Sharada Sarnaik, M.D., both professors of Wayne State University Pediatrics, created the Sarnaik Endowment benefitting the Wayne State University HIGH (Helping Individuals Go Higher) Program.
The doctors pledged to match every donation dollar for dollar. So far in 2019, the effort has raised $15,685 toward the doctors’ match of $25,000 to continue the mission of helping Wayne State’s most vulnerable population — students who are in danger of not completing their degree because of homelessness, precarious housing situations or other financial crises.
Help give the gift of an education today by donating to the Sarnaik Challenge here.
