The Facilities Office has been informed by Facilities, Planning and Maintenance that funding for the repair of Scott Hall elevators has been approved. New parts need to be ordered, and the office expects the elevators will be repaired and functional within a month.

The U.S. Postal Service will no longer pick up mail in Scott Hall. Any stamped outgoing mail can be placed in the grey bins labeled for U.S. Mail in the Scott Hall Mailroom (Room 1309) and the Central Receiving mail personnel will pick up and deliver to the post office.

A new water fountain with a bottle filler has been installed in the Research office hallway outside of Room 1261.

As of Jan. 2, 2019, courier runs to main campus will take place on Tuesday and Thursday mornings only. Any department that has something to deliver or pick up from main campus on non-courier days are more than welcome to check out the Facilities & Support Services state vehicle to deliver or pick up items.

As you know, university caterer Aramark will no long support the Scott Hall cafeteria. Delite Café and Deli, located in the lobby of the Mazurek Medical Education Commons, is making arrangements to offer limited lunch selections in the food service area. They expect to be up and running shortly after the holiday break.
