Congratulations to SOM's 2018 Spirit of Community award finalists

Winners of the 2018 Spirit of Community Awards will be announced March 29 at a 3 p.m. ceremony in the Community Arts Auditorium, followed by a 4 p.m. reception at the McGregor Memorial Conference Center.

Wayne State encourages all faculty, staff and students to participate in meaningful, sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships with our community. These awards honor members of the university who best exemplify the spirit of Wayne State University's deep commitment to community engagement.

Diabetes Education and Wellness Clinic (D.E.W.) is a multidisciplinary outreach initiative housed at the Super All Year Detroit Family Clinic. Regular volunteers include School of Medicine students, faculty and staff.
