Medical School Information Systems' computing inventory begins Feb. 19

Medical School Information System technicians will visit Wayne State University buildings to conduct a mandatory computing inventory beginning the week of Feb. 19. Dates for each building are listed below.

What you need to know:

All WSU and grant-funded computing equipment, such as personal computers, network printers and tablets, will need to be accessible to MSIS personnel during the scheduled time.

Technicians will be collecting pertinent information such as make, model and serial numbers. A new WSU asset tag will be affixed to all computing equipment.

If you will not be available during your location's scheduled time and have a laptop or tablet, please visit www.med.wayne.edu/help to schedule a walk-in appointment to have your device inventoried and tagged in advance.

The inventory schedule is as follows:

Elliman: Feb. 19-23
iBio: Feb. 26-March 2
60 West Hancock & 2727 Second St.: March 5-8
Woodward Gardens: March 12-16
C.S. Mott Center: March 19-23
Lande: March 26-30
Mazurek Medical Education Commons: April 2-6
Tolan Park: April 9-13
Scott Hall: April 16-20

Please note, School of Medicine customers located at the Detroit Medical Center, Karmanos Cancer Institute and John D. Dingell VA Medical Center will be visited after the completion of WSU locations.
