J. Patricia Dhar, M.D., received the Raymond H. Murray Governor's Award at the annual meeting of the American College of Physicians' Michigan chapter on Oct. 21 in Traverse City, Mich.

Dr. Dhar is an associate professor of Internal Medicine for the Wayne State University School of Medicine, and principal investigator of the Wayne State University Lupus Database. A rheumatologist, she was honored for her contributions to the ACP Michigan Chapter and her achievements in teaching, research and education during her academic career.

She graduated from the School of Medicine in 1982.
