Nominate a School of Medicine community member for WSU's 'Spirit of Community' awards

Do you know a student, student organization, faculty member or staff member at the Wayne State University School of Medicine who should be recognized for their outstanding commitment to the community?

The WSU Division of Government and Community Affairs is now accepting nominations for the second annual 2018 Wayne State University Spirit of Community Awards.

Wayne State encourages all faculty, staff and students to participate in meaningful, sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships with the community. The awards will honor members of the university who best exemplify the spirit of Wayne State University's deep commitment to community engagement.

Nominations are sought for awards in the following categories:

- Student Engagement
- Staff Engagement
- Faculty Engagement
- Project Engagement

Nominations are due by Nov. 17, 2017.

Winners will be announced at the 2018 Spirit of Community Awards Celebration, to be held March 29, 2018.
