The fifth annual Update in Infectious Diseases Conference will be held Oct. 21 in the Margherio Family Conference Center at the Wayne State University School of Medicine.

The conference will provide eight lecture topics and three panel discussions. Activity Director Pranatharthi Chandrasekar, M.D., WSU professor of Internal Medicine and Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases, along with the planning committee, are striving to provide presentations on topics to assist in improving patient care and outcomes provided by specialists from Wayne State University and the Detroit Medical Center.

The conference is always well attended and has received strong positive evaluations from attendees.
