Wayne State University is streamlining Wi-Fi networks in School of Medicine buildings to provide a more reliable connection to students, faculty and staff.

The Wi-Fi networks named "WSU" and "WSU-GUEST" are being retired. If you use any of these networks on your personal computer or mobile device, read below for instructions on how to get connected following this transition:

WSU-SECURE is the preferred Wi-Fi network for personal computers, mobile devices and tablets. Students, staff and faculty should choose WSU-SECURE whenever they need Wi-Fi. WSU-SECURE will provide the best wireless experience available and is compatible with devices running iOS, Android, Mac OS X, Windows and more. Find detailed instructions for the one-time setup to WSU-SECURE at go.wayne.edu/securesetup.

Visitors should connect to the WSU-PUBLIC network, which is now available across WSU buildings without login or advance setup.

School of Medicine and Wayne State University Physician Group-supported Windows PCs will continue to automatically connect to "WSUPG-SECURE."

Wi-Fi network has been upgraded in the following buildings: Elliman, Lande, Mazurek Medical Education Commons, C.S. Mott Center,Tolan Park and Woodward Gardens.

Wi-Fi network upgrade is currently underway in Scott Hall and should be completed within the next week.
