Dr. Hazlett invited to Harvard as visiting professor

Linda Hazlett, Ph.D., interim vice chair of Research and Graduate Programs, and chair of the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology for the Wayne State University School of Medicine, has been invited to serve as a visiting professor for the Harvard Medical School Department of Ophthalmology's Cornea Center of Excellence.

Dr. Hazlett is scheduled to lecture on "Antimicrobial Resistance: Development of Novel Therapeutics" during her tenure as a visiting professor May 31-June 1, 2018.

"It is an honor to participate in this lecture series, and I am very much looking forward to fruitful interactions with the outstanding group of Harvard vision scientists," she said.

Visiting professors in the series, typically meet with faculty, give a keynote lecture, and join faculty and fellows for dinner following the keynote lecture.
