The HHV-6 Foundation, of which Dr. Pellett is a Scientific Advisory Board member, is the primary sponsor and facilitator of the meeting, now held every two to three years. Dr. Pellett has been on the scientific committee for all meetings, but this year marks only his second appearance as a principal organizer.

Foundation Director Kristin Loomis is an extraordinarily energetic and effective advocate for and facilitator of HHV-6-related research. Under her direction, the foundation has become the main driver in enabling communication among the international cadre of HHV-6 researchers," Dr. Pellett said.
