"However, as I proceeded through my poster session, I gained confidence in my knowledge and crafted several productive discussions with various researchers," she said. "I was exposed to a plethora of innovative projects, and truly gained insight into the depth and breadth of neuroscience research. Additionally, being nominated for the best poster award infused me with new confidence in my project's validity and my ability to coherently present. As Dr. Diwadkar and I discussed, attending international conferences provides young researchers such as myself with vital experience, as well as reinforces our knowledge in our own research directions."
