Wayne State students shine at annual Molecular Therapeutics symposium

Mengying Liu, a College of Liberal Arts and Sciences doctoral student working in the lab of Associate Professor of Biological Sciences Lori Pile, Ph.D., tied for second place with the Cancer Biology Graduate Program's Thomas McFall. McFall is mentored by Professor Manohar Ratnam, Ph.D., who also mentors third-place winner Rayna Rosati.

This year's student posters were "outstanding, and clearly showcase the strength of our Ph.D. training programs at WSU and in Cancer Biology in particular. I am very proud of our students and their accomplishments," Dr. Matherly said.
