Dr. Mark Britton, '90, elected ACP fellow

Mark R.A. Britton, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.C.P., Class of 1990, has been elected to fellowship in the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Britton, a hospital and vascular medicine physician for the Mid-Florida Hospitalist Group, also serves as assistant professor and chair of the Department of Internal Medicine at Florida Hospital Apopka.

The ACP is a national organization of 137,000 internists, internal medicine subspecialists, and medical students, residents and fellows. Fellowship is a distinction earned from colleagues who recognize a member's accomplishments and achievements over and above the practice of medicine. Important considerations for ACP fellowship are excellence and contributions made to both medicine and to the broader community in which the internist lives and practices.
