The next Professional and Academic Development seminar will focus on career opportunities after postdoctoral education and training.

"Exploring Career Opportunities after Doctoral Education and Postdoctoral Training," scheduled for April 23 from 1 to 2:30 p.m., will be moderated by Ambika Mathur, Ph.D., associate dean of the Wayne State University Graduate School of professor of pediatrics for the WSU School of Medicine.

Discussion topics will include:
How can I identify and learn more about job opportunities in science, industry and government?
Who can help me identify and evaluate alternate sources of employment?
How can I best present myself to potential employers?
How can faculty be helpful mentors for students as they explore career paths?tyoung@med.wayne.edu.
