Dr Steven Yucht, M.D.,F.A.C.E.P. has been named the Medical Director of the NASA Space Shuttle Medical Support Team.  Dr Yucht and his team attend every launch and landing of the Space Shuttle at Kennedy Space Center to provide medical support for the astronauts.

Dr. Yucht is also the Chief of Staff for Shands Healthcare.  He is an Emergency Medicine physician at Shands AGH and Shands at the University of Florida.

He and his wife Nicole Live in Gainesville, FL and have 4 wonderfull children.
