Prevent theft, lock up valuables
A few thefts have been reported recently in Scott Hall, and in every case they could have been prevented. In each incident, valuable items were left unattended, either in plain view or in an unlocked desk drawer. Please take necessary measures to keep valuables locked up or attended at all times.

Flags lowered to honor soldier
Flags will be lowered on campus on Friday, Oct. 28, to honor Army Private First Class Nicholas J. Greer, of Monroe, who was killed in Haqlaniyah, Iraq. He was assigned to the Third Battalion, 504th Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, Ft. Bragg, N.C.
