WSU Physician Group: Dr. Crook's departure; Panel discussion

Dr. Crook leaves for new post
Errol D. Crook, M.D., interim chair of the WSU Department of Internal Medicine, recently announced he will soon leave the university to accept a position as chair of internal medicine at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, in Mobile, Ala. Dr. Crook and his family are originally from Alabama. "I am impressed with the loyalty to the institution and the Detroit metropolitan area demonstrated by personnel here," Dr. Crook wrote in a letter last week. "That same sense of loyalty to home contributed greatly to my acceptance of this new opportunity and its great challenges." Dr. Crook will be working with Dean Robert Frank to ensure smooth transition in leadership in the WSU Department of Internal Medicine upon his departure in June.
