Lecture hall catering area to move for Scott Hall renovations
Due to Scott Hall renovations, all catered food for the building's lecture halls must be set up inside the front of the auditoriums on the second floor. Major construction has begun on the lab renovation project, blocking the eastern two-thirds of the third floor until the end of 2006. Because of this, the third floor is no longer accessible by passenger elevators. A temporary wall has been installed on the western third of the floor to divide the construction area from the remaining hallway space outside of the three lecture halls. Because this area is extremely small, each lecture hall has been equipped with two moveable tables to accommodate catered food as well as speakers or hand-outs. Scott Hall and McGregor's AVI catering groups have been informed about this change, however all external firms hired to cater to these lecture halls should be notified as well.
