Dec. 27 payday procedure announced

The Dec. 27 regularly scheduled payday occurs during this year's holiday closure period. As a result, paychecks for employees not participating in the direct deposit program will be mailed to the home address reflected in the Human Resources Management System on Dec. 22. If you are not a participant in the University Direct Deposit Program this is an ideal time for you to enroll. Please complete the Direct Deposit of Pay Authorization form (available in the Payroll Office) and submit to the Payroll Department by Dec. 6 for Direct Deposit that will begin on the December 27, 2006 pay.

For employees having direct deposit, the funds will be in your bank account on Dec. 27 and direct deposit advices (check stub) will be distributed to your department on Jan. 2. If there is a need to view the Dec. 27 pay stub sooner, it will be available online by accessing WSU Pipeline, http://www.wayne.edu, beginning Wednesday, Dec. 20.

Please take this opportunity to make sure that the address shown on your paycheck/direct deposit advice is accurate because that is where your paycheck and form W-2 will be mailed. If necessary, the address can be corrected online utilizing WSU Pipeline. If you have questions or need assistance in Pipeline, call the Help Desk at (313) 577-4778. If you are unable to access pipeline to make an online change, please contact Human Resources, Employment Services Center, (313) 577-2020 by Dec. 8.
