The Detroit Medical Center Board of Directors recently voted to ban smoking from hospital property, effective July 1. Smoking on all DMC property will be prohibited; this includes grounds, parking lots and parking structures. DMC Human Resources will be announcing plans soon to improve employee access to smoking cessation programs.
