Submit abstracts for Del Harder Research Day

All staff, faculty and students of Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, Wayne State University Departments of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Nursing and other interested departments and rehabilitation organizations are invited to submit abstracts for presentation at the 13 th annual Del Harder Research Day on Friday, May 4. The submissions should reflect empirical or data-based research in any area related to medical rehabilitation. Accepted submissions will be scheduled for either a 20-minute oral presentation or a poster presentation. The submissions must meet the following criteria:

  • Posters and papers presented elsewhere no earlier than May 2006;
  • Unpublished research studies, projects in progress and new methodologies;
  • Descriptive abstracts for clinical case studies, technical innovations or new therapeutic techniques;
  • The principal author must be affiliated with a university (as a student, staff or faculty)

Abstracts may be submitted in two categories: student/novice and experienced researcher. Prizes will be awarded for best oral and poster presentation in the student/novice category as judged by a panel of experts (cash prizes of $250 each). AAMC seeks proposals for education workshop, discussion presentations

The AAMC Group on Educational Affairs and Group on Student Affairs have issued a call for presentation proposals for the GEA/GSA Mini-Workshop and Small Group Discussion, to be held at the association's Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., Nov. 2-7. Submitted proposals must be received by April 9.
