Contribute memories for 3rd-year Clinician Ceremony

Remember the first day you stepped into the hospital as a third-year student? What about your first patient? Your first mentor? The second-year medical students are slowly preparing to embark on the exciting and overwhelming journey that we all remember so fondly... or some parts of it not so fondly.

The Gold Humanism Honor Society is starting a new tradition called the 3rd Year Clinician ceremony.  This ceremony will recognize the incoming third year medical students for their accomplishments and welcome them into their clinical years. We also are giving them a gift: a book filled with words of wisdom as well as stories from our own experiences as physicians and physicians-in-training. Third- and fourth-year students, residents, faculty and physicians are invited to submit contributions.

Please submit your entries (or questions) by March 31 to mtashjia@med.wayne.edu. You may also drop them off in Marcella Tashjian's mail box (MS III) or in the Office of Student Affairs.
