Student Organizations: AMA-MSS regional convention

Early registration ends today for AMA-MSS convention
Today is the last day to register early for the American Medical Association Medical Student Section regional convention on "Medicine and Law," Friday, Feb. 4, and Saturday, Feb. 5. After today, registrants will be charged a $5 fee in addition to the $10 registration charge for members or $15 for non-members. The convention will kick off with keynote speaker Dr. Albert Schumacher, president of the Canadian Medical Association, at 4 p.m. on Friday in Scott Hall's Jaffar Auditorium. A reception will follow. On Saturday, programming at the Renaissance Center Mariott Hotel will include "The Forensic Psychiatrist in Medical Malpractice," "Health and Human Rights in a Global Society" and "Medicine, Public Policy and the Law: The Case of So-Called Partial Birth Abortions."
