HR offers weight-management program
WSU Human Resources is offering a weight management help as part of its Worksite Wellness Program. Beverly Price, a register dietitian, exercise physiologist and registered yoga teacher, will conduct a comprehensive nutritional and weight-management program, "Tipping the Scale: Achieving Balance in Weight Management." The 10-week, one-hour lunch-and-learn series will offer practical food and nutrition tips, simple exercise plans that can be done anywhere and profound relaxation techniques to help gain more control of one's appetite. Registration runs through Monday, Feb. 7, and classes begin in mid-February. Enrollment, which costs $99, is limited to the first 35 participants.
