New study addresses medical education in time of expansion

The Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation will fund a two-year, $750,000 study titled "The Medical School Futures Study," examining the social mission of medical education during the current period of medical school expansion. The project will be housed at The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services, and will be led by Fitzhugh Mullan, M.D., the university's Murdock Head Professor of Medicine and Health Policy, and Linda Lesky, M.D., associate professor of medicine and health policy for the university.
