Cafeteria begins summer schedule Monday

Starting Monday, May 21, and running through Friday, July 27, the Scott Hall Cafeteria, AVI Vital Signs Café, will operate on a summer schedule. The cafeteria will be open 8:15 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. A continental breakfast featuring coffee, tea, bagels, juice, cold cereal, yogurt, and fruit, will be offered.  We will also try serving a prepared hot breakfast sandwich, based on popularity.  The grill will not be open until lunch.

Lunch will continue with many of the same items that are currently offered.  Stir-Fry/Action Cookery will be on Mondays and Wednesdays, and an enhanced lunch grill will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Fish Fry will be on Fridays.  One daily soup will be available, but daily chili will be eliminated.  Pizza choices will change from three to two:  pepperoni and a daily specialty pizza.  The pasta bar will be gone for the summer.  Grab & Go will continue based on demand.  The salad bar will remain.  Regular daily grill items will continue.

Please direct any comments or questions to Tom Page, General Manager of Vital Signs Café at (313) 577-4555.
