Study: Number of uninsured young adults rises

A new study from the Commonwealth Fund has found that 13.3 million young adults ages 19 to 29 lacked health insurance in 2005, up from 12.9 million in 2004. Study authors recommend extending the eligibility age for Medicaid and the State Children's Health Insurance Program beyond 18 to further expand coverage.
