Report: Massachusetts experiencing major physician shortages

The Massachusetts Medical Society's 2007 Physician Workforce Study found statewide physician shortages in primary care, psychiatry and vascular surgery for the second consecutive year. Anesthesiology, cardiology, gastroenterology and neurosurgery are also in short supply, and urology appears on the list for the first time. For more information, please visit http://www.massmed.org.
