Personnel: Dec. 29 payday; Open enrollment

Dec. 29 paychecks to be mailed
Dec. 29 is a regularly scheduled payday. Since the University will be closed for the holidays on this date, paychecks for employees not participating in the direct deposit program will be mailed to the home address reflected in the Human Resources Management System. These checks will be mailed on Dec. 23, however, they will be dated Dec. 29, which is the first date the bank is obligated to accept for payment.

Please make sure that the address shown on your paycheck or direct deposit advice is accurate; that is where your paycheck and form W-2 will be mailed. The address can be corrected, if necessary, online through the WSU Pipeline. If you have questions or need assistance please contact Human Resources, Employment Services Center at (313) 577-2020 by Friday, Dec. 10.

Any employee with a Canadian mailing address that does not want their check of Dec. 29 mailed, can request by e-mail or in writing that the Cashiers Office have their check delivered to their office on Jan. 3. E-mail Lavinia Lamar at ae7840@wayne.edu or Romeleo Nardo at ab4125@wayne.edu. Written memos should be sent to their attention in the Cashiers Office, 1100 A/AB, and must be received by Monday, Dec. 22.

For employees who use direct deposit, the funds will be deposited in bank accounts on Dec. 29, and direct deposit check stubs will be distributed to your department on Jan. 3. If there is a need to view the Dec. 29 pay stub sooner, it will be available online by accessing WSU Pipeline at http://www.pipeline.wayne.edu beginning Wednesday, Dec. 22. To view your pay stub, select the "Employee" tab; then "Pay Stub"; then click "Display" for "Pay Stub Year: 2004." Select "Pay Stub Date: December 29, 2004."

If you have any questions, please contact the Payroll Office at (313) 577-2138. All other questions about pay should be directed to your home department.
