Provost appoints new associate VP
Provost Nancy S. Barrett has announced the appointment of Barbara Price, Ph.D., as associate vice president for academic personnel. Dr. Price will be responsible for faculty and academic staff relations, administration of the AAUP/AFT contract and other administrative duties. Dr. Price has served as associate dean in the School of Business Administration for 10 years and has also served as interim chair of the Department of Management for three years. Dr. Price received her Ph.D. from the University of Utah in 1970. She is an associate professor in the Department of Information Systems and Manufacturing and has taught quantitative decision analysis for management. Her research has been cross-disciplinary in management, finance and manufacturing.
