Development & Alumni Affairs: Faculty-Staff Campaign update; WSU School of Medicine sale

Donate to the Wayne First faculty-staff campaign
The Office of Development and Alumni Affairs is pleased to announce that the total raised to date through the School's Wayne First campaign is $3,204,046. But for those who haven't made a donation yet, there's still time!

This campaign will raise funds to create the new education commons, support research, build scholarships and enhance educational programming. While the education commons is a major initiative of this campaign, donors also may designate how their contribution will be used. Gifts may be directed to a specific program, research fund, scholarship fund or department. One hundred percent of contributions will be used according to donors' wishes.

There are many convenient ways for you to meet your philanthropic goals. Gifts may be made through payroll deduction, checks or credit cards. There are also many planned giving strategies that may be tailored to your age and personal circumstances; planned gifts can make it possible for you to become a leadership donor while creating a solid financial foundation for your family.

The campaign deadline is December 15, 2004, and your department will be distributing pledge cards and more information about the campaign. If you have questions or would like a pledge card, please contact Lori Herman at (313) 577-1474.
