Software Subscription: WSU Applied Genomics Technology Center

WSU Applied Genomics Technology Center needs input
As part of the Michigan-Wide Core Technology Alliance, the WSUApplied Genomics Technology Center has been asked to start asoftware subscription service. This will become effective Sept.1. The subscription rate will be $200 per year. For many current users, we have previously provided free software, such as MacVector, BioConductor and Genomatix. Now is the time to make suggestions for any new software packages you would like to see as part of this subscription service.

Software will be available by floating licenses and web based tools, but some will only be available on computers maintained at the AGTC. Software we have decided to make available include: Gene Spring, Celera Discovery System, Gene Chip Operating Software (GCOS), Affymetrix Data Mining Tool, R and BioConductor, MacVector, DS Gene, ImaGene, Gene Pix Pro, Genomatix and Oligo.
