Main Campus: Lowered flags; C&IT services; WSU Women's Chorale

Flags lowered in honor of soldier
Flags will be lowered to half-staff throughout the state on Thursday, Aug. 12, in memory of Army Specialist Donald R. McCune, II, of Ypsilanti, Mich. Flags return to full staff on Friday, Aug. 13.

After-school enrichment program offered for kids
"Kid Builders," an after-school enrichment program for kids aged 5 to 15, will begin Monday, Aug. 23, at the WSU Recreation and Fitness Center. The program provides activities aimed at improving kids' fitness, self-esteem and team-building skills. Weekly and monthly progress reports will be provided to parents regarding academic and physical fitness levels. The program runs through Friday, Dec. 3, and costs $35 per week. C&IT offers WSU Internet Toolkit
WSU Computing & Information Technology has developed a CD-ROM to instruct students, faculty and staff on setting up WSU dial-in software on your home computer. The same content is available for download from C&IT's website for those with high-speed connections. Visit computing.wayne.edu to view pick-up locations for the CD-ROM as well as several other C&IT services.

Join WSU Women's Chorale
The WSU Women's Chorale is seeking new members. The group is open to all WSU students, faculty and staff. Members may enroll in MUA2870 or MUA7870 for one credit hour.
