Philanthropic program seeks applicants for academic physician scholarships
Goldman Philanthropic Partnerships is seeking applications for its 2005 Charles E. Culpeper Scholarships in Medical Science Program, which is designed to support the career development of academic physicians. The program provides up to three awards of $100,000 per year for three years to medical schools, on behalf of selected candidates who must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and must have received a medical degree in 1996 or later. Candidates will be judged by the quality of their research proposals and their potential for successful careers in academic medicine. Applications must be submitted by Aug. 16.
