WSU CME program wins re-accreditation

The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education recently notified the WSU School of Medicine Department of Continuing Medical Education that it has received full accreditation with all essential areas in compliance. The program received an "exemplary" mark in Needs Assessment.

"The main thing we take pride in was there were no areas of 'partial compliance' and no 'concerns,'" said David Pieper, Ph.D., assistant dean for continuing medical education and executive director of the Southeast Michigan Center for Medical Education. "I would like to thank School of Medicine leadership and the WSU CME Dean's Council for their support. I would also like to thank our CME staff for their hard work to accomplish these results."
