Seventeen WSU School of Medicine students joined more than 200 physicians at the recent annual Michigan State Medical Society House of Delegates meeting. Students sat on each of the five major reference committees, providing evidence-based opinions on issues at hand.

"[WSU medical students] spoke sonly and eloquently and were complimented for leading the way by providing factual references with each statement made," said Brendan Burns, chair of the MSMS Medical Student Section. "When differing opinions arose and debate grew heated, they neither wilted into silence nor devolved into assertion. Thy always behaved in a decorous and professional manner."

WSU students who attend the meeting included:
