Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm has appointed Robert Zalenski, M.D., WSU professor of emergency medicine, to the Committee on Pain and Symptom Management. Dr. Zalenski, who also serves as the WSU Department of Emergency Medicine's director of clinical research and director of the Center to Advance Palliative Care Excellence, will represent WSU on the panel for a term expiring July 1, 2007.
